Jacorey High, 21, was wading at the Dunlawton Beach approach when a shark bit his left foot shortly before 5:30 p.m. He was treated at the scene and transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. His family said he suffered extensive ligament and tendon damage to his foot, and he was released from the hospital on Monday.
